Christy Georg is an Artist / Adventurer. She’s a professional sculptor and educator teaching fabrication skills and sees the market for quality, proper-fitting, good-looking safety glasses for women firsthand.  She has taught at numerous sculpture programs around the U.S. and was most recently Operations Manager at MAKE Santa Fe.

Courage, endurance, and fortitude are recurring themes in her artwork, studio practice, and life. While she is certainly a risk-taker in life, taking a risk with her eye safety in the shop will never do, and she’s out to change that!

Why is there no metric for how safety eyewear fits different sizes & shapes of heads? Christy cut her cornea twice and is determined to create a safer, better product with customizable sizing and new features for the best fit of your life… in a cat-eye feminine style.
